The MICROFILL medical device makes it possible for your plastic surgeon to collect adipose tissue in an extremely non-traumatic and precise way. Thus, MICROFILL enables a preparation of small adipose lobules to be obtained, by a simple mechanical collection process.
As is the case for our other products, the resulting increase in volume is natural and does not require the use of any substances foreign to your body since it is your own adipose tissue that is used.
MICROFILL improves to a significant degree upon the traditional techniques of lipofilling mainly for 2 reasons:
- a reduction in post-operative edemas and bruising due to the small diameter re-injection cannula that is used
- an improvement in the effectiveness of the adipose tissue graft due to the fact that a strict protocol is used that respects the integrity and the viability of adipose tissue.
The resorption of tissue in the months that follow the injection is low and foreseeable. It is seldom necessary to carry out a new injection before several years have passed.
Your safety is always assured because MICROFILL is single-use and allows adipose tissue to be handled in a closed circuit, i.e. without any contact with the outside. Therefore the risk of nosocomial infection is very low.
